Other

Confirmation is the process by which our youth in grades 7 through 12 become members of the church.  The process incorporates elements of service, worship, leadership, and education over and over the course of a Sunday school year, culminating in the youth joining the church, usually in the late spring.

The Women’s Weekend in September, the Men’s in March, Family weekends, and others at Camp Crestfield in Slippery Rock, all have an educational component.

The Fred Rogers Memorial Lecture Fund provides for periodic lectures, often in collaboration with other congregations, schools, and seminaries, that bring in notable speakers.  In the past, they have included John Dominic Crossan, Amy Jo Levine, James Carroll, and Marcus Borg.
